You will create clear read-aloud recordings that help develop AI speech systems. Read provided English prompts naturally, follow pronunciation and pacing guidance, and submit audio that meets the project’s quality standards.
- Read English prompts accurately with clear pronunciation, pacing, and enunciation.
- Follow instructions exactly, including reading answer choices when requested.
- Record and submit clean audio using a smartphone, computer, or provided recording platform.
- Review your recordings and re-record takes that do not meet quality standards.
- Flag unclear prompts or technical problems instead of guessing.
- Communicate with project coordinators about recording quality expectations.
What it pays and takes
This is a remote, part-time contractor role for candidates based in the United States. Prior voice work is helpful but not required.
- Pay: $20 to $70 per hour.
- Location: Remote, open to candidates in the United States.
- Language: Professional English proficiency with clear, natural spoken delivery.
- Experience: Entry level; voice work, audiobook narration, voiceover, or audio recording experience is helpful but not required.
- Requirements: Read written text smoothly without stumbling or sounding monotone.
