The Work
You will create speech and environmental audio recordings for AI training. You will follow supplied scripts and prompts, review audio samples, and make recordings in controlled settings such as a quiet office or stationary vehicle.
The work also includes checking audio clarity, creating requested background sounds, documenting files, and responding to coordinator feedback. Examples of background sounds include paper rustling and tapping on surfaces.
- Record clear French and English audio clips from scripts and prompts.
- Listen to recordings and assess their clarity and intelligibility.
- Capture spoken audio and realistic background sounds in specified settings.
- Add accurate metadata to completed files.
- Follow recording, privacy, safety, and data-handling instructions.
- Adjust deliverables based on coordinator feedback so they meet technical requirements.
What It Pays and Takes
This is a remote, part-time contractor role for candidates with professional French and B2-level English. The role is listed as entry level, and previous recording experience is helpful but not required.
- Pay: $30 to $65 per hour.
- Time: Less than 20 hours per week.
