The work
You will support AI research by reviewing AI-generated content and giving feedback grounded in thermal power generation, plant performance analysis, emissions monitoring, and GHG reporting. You will also produce structured analytical outputs using professional tools and workflows.
Work is project-based, ongoing, and completed independently in an asynchronous setting.
- Evaluate AI-generated content against thermal power generation and emissions compliance practices.
- Build price forecast models and prepare power purchase agreement documentation when assigned.
- Perform or review heat rate efficiency and power plant heat rate performance analyses.
- Complete workflows involving EPA continuous emissions monitoring reports, GHG inventories, and annual reporting.
- Produce accurate expert analysis and structured data outputs.
What it pays and takes
This is a fully remote, flexible, asynchronous contract role. Projects are ongoing, with participation based on active project needs.
- Pay: Up to $80 per hour.
- Availability: 20+ hours per week.
- Location: Open to candidates in the United States.
- Language: Fluent in English, with strong written communication.
- Experience: At least two years in thermal power plant performance or emissions compliance.
- Relevant backgrounds include plant performance engineering, thermal performance or heat rate engineering, air quality or emissions compliance, GHG reporting, sustainability reporting, or an equivalent energy-industry role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Skills: Ability to work independently with AVEVA PI, ArcGIS, or comparable professional workflows.
- Requirements: Accurate heat rate analysis, emissions monitoring, and GHG reporting, plus strong attention to detail.
