The work
You will use direct borrower counseling experience to assess whether AI systems give accurate, complete, current, and useful guidance about federal student loans. The work is remote, asynchronous, and focused on careful written and practical judgment.
- Review sample federal student loan questions and identify inquiries that do not reflect realistic borrower needs.
- Create and refine rubrics that define accurate, complete answers about repayment, income-driven repayment plans, Public Service Loan Forgiveness, and other relief programs.
- Expand rubric coverage to deferment, forbearance, default management, loan servicing operations, and servicer-related challenges.
- Evaluate AI-generated answers for inaccurate, missing, outdated, unclear, or problematic servicing guidance.
- Give concise, constructive feedback in writing and work with other experts to keep guidance aligned with current federal student loan practices.
