The work
As a Senior Software Engineer in DevOps, you will build and support infrastructure automation used in software engineering workloads for AI training and large language model evaluation. The work centers on developer self-service tools, continuous delivery, secure AWS operations, and reliable cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain self-service automation tools for developers.
- Design CI/CD pipelines that build, test, and deploy applications.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with AWS CloudFormation.
- Improve cloud efficiency with auto-scaling and down-scaling solutions.
- Implement security automation that enforces policies across AWS accounts.
- Work with product teams to design new workloads.
What it pays and takes
This is a one-month remote contractor assignment. It is open to candidates in India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt, Ghana, Bangladesh, Turkey, and Mexico.
- Pay: $30 per approved task.
- Time: 20+ hours per week.
- Language: Fluent in English.
- Experience: At least five years with AWS infrastructure automation and CloudFormation.
- AWS services: Strong experience with Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, ECS, API Gateway, and Kinesis.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python or Go.
- Tools and practices: Familiarity with Docker, Agile development, Git, and Java tools including Maven and Spring.
- Other requirements: Strong communication, attention to detail, effective teamwork, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
