The work
You will review and validate technical materials used to train and evaluate AI systems for medium-voltage utility distribution and industrial applications. The work combines protection engineering judgment with clear written explanations and realistic technical scenarios.
- Validate protection-system reference cases for medium-voltage utility distribution networks.
- Review technical documents for issues in protective relaying and device coordination.
- Analyze fault-current studies and equipment-protection reviews using recognized industry methods.
- Evaluate SEL, GE, or equivalent microprocessor relay applications in medium-voltage environments.
- Write structured responses and rationales explaining your technical analysis and recommendations.
- Create realistic scenarios based on U.S. distribution-utility or industrial standards.
- Communicate technical findings clearly with project managers and technical leads in writing and conversation.
What it pays and takes
