The work
You will turn realistic mobile engineering problems into coding tasks for AI training. The work includes creating reliable environments, defining expected behavior, validating solutions, and providing a correct reference implementation.
The role may cover cross-platform, iOS, or Android development, depending on your expertise. Because the partner title identifies this as a Senior Mobile Developer role, review the duties and qualifications before applying.
- Create challenging mobile coding tasks from suitable software repositories.
- Design tasks involving bug fixing, feature development, refactoring, state management, lifecycle behavior, and performance improvement.
- Build reproducible environments and deterministic verifiers that accept correct solutions and reject incomplete, incorrect, or hard-coded approaches.
- Provide a golden reference solution that shows a correct implementation across valid approaches.
What it pays and takes
- Pay: $50 to $100 per hour equivalent, paid per task that meets the project specifications.
- Schedule: Approximately 15 hours per week, with minimum weekly submission requirements.
- Work type: Remote, part-time contractor work.
- Location: Open to candidates in Algeria, Argentina, Austria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Palestinian Territories, Peru, the Philippines, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the United States, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.
- Language: Professional fluency in English.
- Mobile expertise: Significant hands-on experience in at least one relevant track.
- Relevant technologies: TypeScript or JavaScript with React Native, Dart with Flutter, Swift with SwiftUI or UIKit, or Kotlin with Jetpack Compose or the Android View system.
- Technical skills: Mobile architecture, state management, asynchronous programming, application lifecycle behavior, complex debugging, performance improvement, reproducible task creation, and robust deterministic validation.
- Helpful background: Maintaining mobile repositories, designing reliable test environments, or evaluating multiple valid software implementations.
How it works
You apply here in about two minutes and finish on the hiring platform. The next step is a short AI interview (technical roles include a coding challenge). Passing it is how you qualify for paid tasks, so take it soon after you are invited.
About AI training work
AI training work uses examples, evaluations, and other human feedback to help improve artificial intelligence systems. This role focuses on software examples and evaluations, and experienced developers are paid for creating tasks that test whether AI-generated code works correctly.
