The work
You will create and evaluate software engineering examples for AI training and benchmarking. The work includes building solutions, improving AI-generated code, and checking software quality.
- Curate Python code examples for backend services, data pipelines, and machine learning infrastructure.
- Build solutions and correct AI-generated code for quality, efficiency, scalability, reliability, and production readiness.
- Create Python agents and automated tools to find code errors and check solutions.
- Evaluate software across prototyping, architecture and API design, implementation, launch, experiments, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Design automated checks for software engineering tasks and contribute coding solutions measured against industry benchmarks.
- Write clear, structured explanations for technical evaluations.
What it takes
- Location: Open to candidates in the United States.
- Schedule: At least 20 hours per week.
- Engagement: Flexible contractor work, initially for one month, with possible extensions based on performance and fit.
- At least three years of software engineering experience.
- Strong Python skills, including production frameworks and tools.
- Experience building full-stack applications and deploying scalable software.
- Deep knowledge of software architecture, design, development, debugging, and code quality assessment.
- Additional experience with JavaScript or ReactJS, C or C++, Java, Rust, or Go is valuable. Experience shipping high-impact products in a fast-moving engineering environment is helpful.
