The work
Create and assess software engineering examples used to train and benchmark AI models. Apply production software judgment to code tasks focused on systems, infrastructure, performance, scale, and reliability.
- Curate code examples, write solutions, and correct code in Python, C/C++, Rust, Go, Java, and JavaScript, including ReactJS.
- Review AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Build agents and automated checks to verify systems and infrastructure code, and identify recurring errors.
- Assess model abilities across prototyping, architecture, API design, production implementation, monitoring, and operational maintenance.
- Write and explain clear, structured evaluations in writing and orally.
What it pays and takes
- Hours: 20+ per week, with a flexible schedule.
- Location: Remote; open to candidates in the United States.
- Engagement: Part-time contractor role, initially one month, with potential extensions.
- Skills: Strong expertise in systems programming, infrastructure, or backend development; experience building and deploying scalable, production-grade software; and knowledge of software architecture, design, development, debugging, and code review.
- Programming: Practical proficiency in one or more relevant languages, including Python, C/C++, Rust, Go, Java, or JavaScript.
- A computer science education can be helpful, but demonstrated technical ability matters more.
