The work
Create expert training data and review AI-generated content using your knowledge of reservoir engineering, subsurface analysis, and production operations.
- Judge AI responses for technical accuracy and relevance.
- Write clear feedback on technical content and its treatment of subsurface practices.
- Use your knowledge of engineering tools and everyday workflows to assess AI responses.
- Work independently and asynchronously with careful attention to detail.
What it pays and takes
- Pay: Up to $80 per hour.
- Work structure: Remote, project-based contract work with a flexible, asynchronous schedule.
- Typical workload: About 5 to 20 hours per week when participating in an active project.
- Location: Open to candidates in the United States.
- Background: Professional experience in reservoir engineering, subsurface analysis, production operations, or a related energy-industry role.
- Relevant roles include Reservoir Engineer, Petrophysicist, Production Engineer, or Reserves Analyst.
- Hands-on experience with at least one relevant tool, such as Spotfire, CMG, MBAL, FracPro, PVTi, WellView, or Petrel.
- Strong written communication, clear technical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Experience with several reservoir, production, petrophysics, or subsurface-analysis tools is helpful. Prior AI experience is not required.
