- Review React Native solutions for correctness and sound engineering practices.
- Write reference implementations and step-by-step explanations for complex mobile tasks.
- Compare AI responses and decide which solution is stronger.
- Fact-check claims about React Native, TypeScript, mobile architecture, and platform-specific behavior.
- Find issues in rendering, state, navigation, platform-specific modules, offline behavior, performance, memory use, testing, and release workflows.
What it pays and takes
This is a part-time contractor role for an experienced React Native engineer. You must be able to write clear technical explanations in English and work with mobile applications on both iOS and Android.
- Pay: $60 to $100 per hour.
- Time: 20+ hours per week.
- Location: Open to candidates in Germany, India, and the United States.
- Language: Fluent English writing and communication.
- Strong hands-on experience with React Native and modern React.
- Deep proficiency in TypeScript and mobile app debugging on iOS and Android.
- Familiarity with navigation, platform-specific modules, performance tuning, testing, and CI/CD basics.
- Prior AI training, annotation, or evaluation experience is helpful but not required.
- Helpful background includes a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, plus experience building production mobile apps.
- Familiarity with Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, Appium, CocoaPods, and Gradle is helpful.
