You will review AI-generated Finnish content and create high-quality Finnish reference answers. Your work will help make AI writing more accurate, natural, useful, and appropriate for Finnish audiences.
The role includes detailed language review, factual checks, structured ratings, and original writing across general knowledge, customer support, education, and conversational content.
- Review Finnish writing for fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, accuracy, and cultural fit.
- Find mistranslations, register problems, ambiguity, logical inconsistencies, and unsafe or misleading content.
- Fact-check claims when needed and flag hallucinated or misleading information.
- Write strong Finnish rewrites and gold-standard reference answers.
- Create prompts and reference answers in Finnish.
- Compare and rate multiple AI responses for correctness, naturalness, usefulness, and overall quality.
- Adapt language for formal and informal settings, different audiences, and clear-language Finnish, also called selkokieli.
What it pays and takes
This is a remote, part-time contractor role for an expert Finnish language reviewer. The work suits someone who can maintain consistent quality in a self-directed workflow.
- Pay: $50 per hour.
- Time: 20+ hours per week.

- Language: Fluent Finnish reading and writing, plus strong professional English for detailed written feedback.
- Experience level: Expert.
- Background: Linguistics, translation, editing, localization, journalism, education, or related language work.
- Strong knowledge of Finnish grammar and style, including case usage, word order, compounds, punctuation, and register.
- Strong attention to subtle meaning shifts, literal translations, and culturally mismatched phrasing.
- Prior experience in AI data training, annotation, translation quality assurance, editorial quality assurance, or rubric-based evaluation.
- Helpful: A bachelor's degree or higher in a language-related field.
- Helpful: Professional experience writing, editing, or reviewing Finnish content.
- Helpful: Experience comparing model responses and providing structured quality feedback.
