Quality Assurance Team Lead

This role focuses on German quality assurance leadership for AI training projects. You will review AI-generated German content and trainer QA work, then help remote contributors meet clear project standards.

• Review German AI training content and trainer QA work for accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, cultural fit, meaning, instruction-following, formatting, and rubric adherence.
• Find recurring quality issues, escalate critical problems, and improve consistency across German-language projects.
• Answer trainer and QA questions about wording and localization, share updates, and support contributor activation and follow-up.
• Create and maintain style guides, trackers, FAQs, quality notes, examples, honeypots, and onboarding materials.
• Schedule and lead onboarding and training calls, and align contributors on project expectations and German quality standards.

This is a remote, part-time contractor role. The structured experience level is entry level, with the role requiring strong language skills and relevant background in German content or quality work.

• Pay: Up to $60 per hour.
• Time: 20 or more hours per week.
• Location: Open to candidates in Germany and Austria.
• Language: Fluent German with strong reading and writing ability, plus strong English for following guidelines and giving written feedback.
• Background: German writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, education, or annotation.
• Knowledge: German grammar, spelling, tone, register, business writing norms, and cultural context.
• Tools: Comfort with remote collaboration tools and organized quality documentation.
• Helpful: Knowledge of written German differences across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
• Helpful: Experience leading or supporting remote trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QA teams.
• Helpful: Experience evaluating prompts and responses or conducting rubric-based LLM quality assurance.
