QA Team Lead with Mathematical Background (Marathi)

You will oversee quality across Marathi AI training projects. This includes reviewing AI-generated Marathi content, trainer work, and QA work against detailed project guidelines, then helping contributors apply those standards consistently.

You will also support Marathi-language questions, contributor training, documentation, and remote quality workflows. The role includes identifying recurring issues and suggesting process improvements.

• Review accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, cultural fit, meaning, formatting, and instruction-following.
• Check work against project rubrics and spot critical or recurring quality problems.
• Write clear feedback and escalate issues when needed.
• Answer questions about Marathi wording, register, translation fidelity, cultural context, regional usage, and edge cases.
• Share guideline and workflow updates with trainers and QA contributors.
• Create and maintain Marathi style guides, FAQs, trackers, quality notes, examples, honeypots, and onboarding materials.
• Support contributor onboarding and training, and recommend improvements based on quality gaps.

This is a part-time contractor role open to candidates in India, Mauritius, and Pakistan. The role requires professional Marathi proficiency, strong English skills, and a mathematical background.

• Professional fluency in Marathi with strong Marathi reading and writing skills.
• Strong English skills for understanding guidelines and writing clear feedback.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in Mathematics.
• At least three years of professional experience in Marathi writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, education, annotation, or related language-review work.
• Strong knowledge of Marathi grammar, spelling, punctuation, tone, register, regional variation, and cultural context.
• Ability to identify mistranslation, unnatural phrasing, unsupported claims, ambiguity, and inconsistent terminology.
• Careful, organized communication and the ability to manage quality workflows with remote contributors.
• Experience supporting remote teams is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI training, data annotation, large language models, prompt and response evaluation, or rubric-based language-model review is helpful.
• Experience with tools such as Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, dashboards, trackers, or project management systems is helpful.
