The work
You will solve self-contained coding and technical reasoning challenges used to evaluate AI models. The work focuses on precise solutions, careful testing, and results that can be checked consistently.
- Solve coding, logic, debugging, and technical reasoning challenges.
- Explore unfamiliar codebases or terminal environments to identify an approach.
- Turn requirements into working solutions using suitable algorithms and data structures.
- Test solutions for constraints, edge cases, complexity, and correctness.
- Produce reproducible final results for consistent evaluation.
What it pays and takes
- Pay: $60 to $120 per hour equivalent, paid per task that meets project specifications.
- Schedule: About 15 hours per week, with flexible hours and days, including weekends if desired.
- Work arrangement: Fully remote individual contractor role.
- Location: Open to candidates across the listed countries in North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
- Language: Professional fluency in English.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of common data structures and algorithms, plus careful reasoning about complexity, constraints, edge cases, and correctness.
- Requirements: Practical coding ability in Python or C++, and a public or otherwise verifiable Codeforces profile showing competitive programming experience.
- Helpful background: Competitive programming, competitive C++ events, judging, or recognized programming competition achievement.
How it works
You apply here in about two minutes and finish on the hiring platform. The next step is a short AI interview (technical roles include a coding challenge). Passing it is how you qualify for paid tasks, so take it soon after you are invited.
About AI training work
AI training is the human work behind systems that learn from examples, including coding solutions and ratings of model output. OpenTrain is a platform where people find AI training and data-labeling work, build a profile, and apply to projects across the industry.
