The work
You will turn real procurement workflows into difficult, realistic tasks for evaluating AI systems. The work focuses on judgment and interpretation, not simple information lookup.
You will create the source materials, instructions, and grading standards needed for each task. You will also check whether tasks are clear and can be graded consistently before they are submitted.
- Design multi-step tasks based on supplier assessments, bid comparisons, vendor risk analyses, and contract reviews.
- Create or source realistic RFP responses, pricing schedules, contracts, service-level agreements, and risk assessments.
- Define objective grading criteria that help qualified reviewers reach consistent decisions.
- Use supplier scorecards, weighted bid criteria, vendor risk frameworks, category strategies, or similar evaluation standards.
- Deliver approved benchmark tasks at the required quality level.
What it pays and takes
This is a remote contractor role with flexible scheduling. Work is organized around individual benchmark-task assignments.
- Pay: $45 to $90 per hour.
- Schedule: Part time, less than 20 hours per week.
- Location: Open to candidates across the Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, including the United States, Canada, Brazil, India, Japan, and South Africa.
- Language: Professional English at B2 level or higher is required; C1 is preferred.
- Experience level: Entry level.
- Five or more years of hands-on experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier assessment, or vendor management is strongly preferred.
- Practical experience with competitive bids, supplier evaluation, vendor contracts or SLAs, vendor risk, or supplier performance management is expected.
- Ability to work across contracts, spreadsheets, and reports at the same time.
- CIPS, CPSM, or an equivalent certification is helpful but not required.
- Experience with AI or large language model evaluation is helpful but not required.
