The work
You will help improve large language models by creating difficult physics and STEM problems that test their limits. The work covers topics from early undergraduate physics through Ph.D.-level material.
You will also explain your solutions clearly and work with LLM researchers to shape evaluation tasks and benchmarks. The role involves abstraction, multi-step reasoning, symbolic manipulation, and turning complex ideas into precise explanations.
- Design and solve challenging physics and STEM problems.
- Write clear, step-by-step solutions with detailed reasoning.
- Create detailed annotations and constructive feedback.
- Help build evaluation benchmarks based on physics curricula.
- Collaborate with LLM researchers on evaluation goals.
- Explain complex physics concepts using simple, precise language, visuals, and reasoning.

About AI training work
AI training is the human work behind modern artificial intelligence. Contributors create examples, write and rate model responses, and evaluate results so AI systems can learn to reason and communicate more effectively.
People with advanced subject knowledge are needed for specialist tasks such as physics evaluation because they can judge complex reasoning, identify subtle errors, and write reliable reference solutions.
