The work
Use computational, physical, or theoretical physics expertise to help evaluate and improve AI systems. The work is remote, project-based, and ongoing.
- Create challenging physics problems based on real simulation, modeling, and computational workflows.
- Review AI-generated responses for technical accuracy, numerical rigor, and fit with real physics practice.
- Identify weaknesses in AI reasoning and write structured feedback to help improve responses.
- Complete tasks independently in a remote, asynchronous setting.
Pay, schedule, and qualifications
- Pay: Up to $63 per hour.
- Hours: 20+ hours per week; the work is part time and flexible, with no set schedule.
- Location: Open to candidates in Mexico.
- Language: Fluent in English.
- Education: A master's or PhD in Physics or a related field, or an MS combined with relevant industry experience.
- Write clearly, pay close attention to technical detail, explain complex physics concepts, and evaluate numerical reasoning.
- Helpful background includes running large-scale simulations on HPC clusters across scientific computing environments, and familiarity with lattice methods or other specialized physics techniques.
