The work
You will help improve AI systems by applying expertise in computational, physical, or theoretical physics. The work focuses on creating difficult problems, reviewing model responses, and explaining where their reasoning needs improvement.
- Create expert-level physics problems based on real simulation, modeling, and computational workflows.
- Review AI-generated responses for technical accuracy, numerical rigor, and practical physics reasoning.
- Find weaknesses in model reasoning and provide clear, structured written feedback.
- Use independent judgment to complete project tasks remotely.
What it pays and takes
This is an ongoing, project-based contract role with flexible part-time work.
- Pay: Up to $63 per hour.
- Time: 20 or more hours per week.
- Schedule: No set schedule; complete work remotely and at your own pace.
- Location: Open to candidates in Mexico.
- Language: Fluent written and spoken English.
- Education: Master's or PhD in physics or a related field, or an MS with relevant industry experience.
- Skills: Strong written communication, close attention to technical detail, and the ability to explain complex physics concepts clearly.
- Experience: Helpful background includes large-scale simulations on HPC clusters across multiple scientific computing environments.
- Additional knowledge: Familiarity with lattice methods or other specialized techniques in a physics subfield.
