The work
You will help improve AI systems by creating difficult physics problems and realistic scenarios based on computational, theoretical, and physical workflows. You will then assess AI-generated answers and explain where their reasoning or calculations need improvement.
- Create challenging physics problems and realistic scenarios.
- Review AI-generated physics responses for correctness and numerical rigor.
- Check whether responses match practical physics and computational workflows.
- Find weaknesses in model reasoning and provide clear, structured written feedback.
- Use careful judgment when reviewing specialized physics content and computational approaches.
What it pays and takes
This is remote, project-based contract work with flexible participation.
- Pay: Up to $63 per hour.
- Hours: 20+ hours per week.
- Location: Open to candidates in India.
- Work style: Remote and asynchronous, with no set schedule.
- Education: A master's degree or PhD in physics or a related field, or an MS with relevant industry experience.
- Communication: Strong written communication and the ability to explain complex physics concepts clearly.
- Work habits: Close attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Helpful background: Experience running large-scale simulations on HPC clusters across multiple scientific computing environments.
- Helpful background: Familiarity with lattice methods or other specialized techniques in a physics field.
