The work
You will evaluate AI-generated physics responses and help improve how models solve and explain physics problems. The work requires careful review of both mathematical validity and physical reasoning.
You will also create clear explanations and compare multiple answers so stronger responses can be identified.
- Review AI-generated physics answers for accuracy, logic, clarity, and prompt adherence.
- Find calculation, methodology, conceptual, and factual errors.
- Write clear physics explanations and model solutions.
- Compare and rank responses by correctness and reasoning quality.
- Support AI training tasks involving physics, reasoning, and research.
What it pays and takes
This is expert-level contractor work offered on a part-time basis. You must be able to explain advanced physics clearly and identify subtle problems in model responses.
- Pay: $30 to $70 per hour.
- Time: 20+ hours per week.
- Work type: Part-time contract work.
- Location: Open to candidates in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, India, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
- Language: Excellent English writing ability.
- Education: A master's or doctoral degree in physics or a related field.
- Knowledge: Mechanics, electromagnetism, optics, thermodynamics, statistical mechanics, and modeling.
- Experience: Developing or critically reviewing advanced physics content.
- Helpful background: Data labeling, RLHF, or AI model evaluation experience.

About AI training work
AI training is the human work behind systems that generate and evaluate text. Contributors review model answers, correct errors, and write better examples so AI systems can produce more accurate and useful results. OpenTrain helps people find these projects, build a profile, and apply in one place.
