You will help evaluate AI-generated PHP and backend content. Your work will show whether responses are correct, secure, clear, performant, and faithful to the prompt.
You will also create strong reference answers and explain your reasoning so AI systems can produce better backend engineering work.
- Review AI-generated PHP code, backend designs, and technical explanations.
- Write reference implementations and model answers using strong PHP and backend practices.
- Evaluate responses for correctness, security, performance, clarity, and prompt adherence.
- Compare AI responses and provide structured feedback on their reasoning quality.
- Check application architecture, data modeling, API design, caching, and database usage.
What it pays and takes
This is an intermediate, part-time contractor role for candidates with advanced PHP backend experience and clear technical writing skills.
- Pay: $60 per hour.
- Time: 20+ hours per week.
- Location: Open to candidates in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brazil, Cambodia, Germany, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, the Philippines, the United States, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam.
- Language: Professional fluency in English.
- Experience level: Intermediate.
- Expert-level PHP backend development, including PHP 7.4 or 8.x, object-oriented programming, strict typing, namespaces, and Composer.
- Experience with Laravel, Symfony, or another major PHP framework.
- Strong knowledge of REST, authentication and authorization, caching, queues, database optimization, and secure coding.
- Comfort with version control, CI/CD workflows, and automated testing.
- Helpful experience includes AI training, data annotation, or reviewing AI-generated technical content.
- Helpful technical knowledge includes MySQL or PostgreSQL schema design, indexing, query optimization, transactions, OWASP Top 10, PHPUnit, integration tests, and observability.
