The work
You will help evaluate AI systems that handle patent prosecution. Your work will focus on realistic professional scenarios, expert reference answers, and careful reviews of model responses.
You will explain the reasoning behind sound prosecution decisions and distinguish legally and technically reliable work from answers that only sound plausible.
- Create scenarios involving prior art analysis, claim drafting, and office action responses.
- Write reference answers that explain the legal and technical reasoning behind prosecution decisions.
- Evaluate AI outputs for claim quality, procedural soundness, and technical accuracy.
- Identify drafting that would fail under USPTO practice, even when it appears credible.
- Document clear reasoning about why an answer is legally and technically sound or deficient.
