The work
Create realistic notarization scenarios and write reference answers explaining the reasoning behind each procedural decision. You will also assess AI responses for accuracy under applicable state notary law.
- Write scenarios about acknowledgments, jurats, oaths, identification requirements, and remote online notarization.
- Rate model answers for procedural correctness and flag guidance that sounds plausible but conflicts with notarial requirements.
- Help create expert evaluation material for measuring how well AI handles real professional work.
What it pays and takes
- $35 to $60 per hour, paid weekly; the rate depends on relevant experience.
- Remote, asynchronous independent contractor work on an ongoing project.
- Plan to contribute 20 or more hours per week. Participation can vary while meeting the weekly commitment.
- Open to candidates in the United States.
- An active notary public commission in at least one U.S. state and two years of active notarial practice are required.
- Strong working knowledge of acknowledgments, jurats, oaths, and identification requirements; clear written English; and precise procedural reasoning are required.
- Experience with remote online notarization, loan signing, or notary practice across multiple states is helpful.
