The work
You will create and assess professional networking scenarios used to evaluate AI model judgment. Your work will turn practical network engineering knowledge into clear evaluation data focused on protocol accuracy and sound operations.
- Write realistic scenarios covering network design, routing, switching, firewalls, and outage troubleshooting.
- Create reference answers that explain the reasoning behind network design and troubleshooting decisions.
- Rate AI-generated answers for protocol accuracy and operational soundness.
- Find configurations that appear plausible but would fail in production networks.
- Document technical judgments clearly for model evaluation and improvement.
What it pays and takes
This is a remote, fully asynchronous independent contractor role. Work is ongoing, with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week and no fixed maximum.
- Pay: $80 to $120 per hour, paid weekly via Stripe.
- Location: Remote and open to candidates in the countries listed for this role.
- Language: Clear written English is required.
- Experience: At least two years of professional network engineering or network administration experience.
- Technical skills: Hands-on production experience with routing, switching, and firewalls.
- Protocol knowledge: Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPNs.
