The work
You will evaluate AI-generated marine geology content for technical accuracy, clarity, and usefulness. Your reviews will help improve model responses about marine sediments, core samples, lithology, and sedimentology.
- Validate marine geology and sedimentology reference answers statement by statement.
- Review content about lithology, sedimentary structures, grain-size classifications, and offshore core sampling protocols.
- Check descriptions of marine sediments, ocean floors, soil layers, and rock layers for technical accuracy.
- Correct and improve content about core logging and sediment identification.
- Review and annotate case studies and test sets using offshore core logging and visual core description experience.
- Record ambiguities, edge cases, and other insights that may improve model performance.
What it pays and takes
This is a remote, part-time contractor role for an individual contributor with specialized marine geology expertise. The work is open to candidates across multiple countries and requires professional English fluency.
- Pay: $40 to $100 per hour.
- Work arrangement: Remote and part time.
- Location: Open to candidates in the listed countries across North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
- Language: Professional fluency in English.
- Education: An advanced qualification in marine geology, marine sedimentology, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience: Extensive hands-on experience with offshore or marine core logging, sediment sampling, and visual or analytical core description.
- Expertise: Marine sediments, sedimentary structures, soil and rock layers in oceanic environments, offshore sampling practices, and visual core description protocols.
