Marine Geology Core Logging AI Reviewer

You will evaluate AI-generated content about marine geology and sedimentology. Your reviews will help improve how AI handles technical material on marine sediments, core samples, sedimentary structures, and ocean-floor geology.

• Validate marine geology and sedimentology reference answers statement by statement.
• Assess content about lithology, grain-size classifications, sedimentary structures, and offshore core sampling.
• Review descriptions of marine sediments, ocean floors, soil layers, and rock layers for technical accuracy.
• Correct and improve content about core logging and sediment identification.
• Review and annotate case studies and test sets using offshore core logging and visual core description experience.
• Record ambiguities, edge cases, and other insights that may improve model performance.

This is a remote, part-time contractor role for an individual contributor with specialized marine geology expertise. The work is listed as entry level, and the role requires advanced subject knowledge and hands-on experience.

• Pay: $60 to $100 per hour.
• Work arrangement: Remote and part time.
• Location: Open to candidates in the countries specified for this role across the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
• Language: Professional fluency in English.
• Experience level: Entry level.
• Education: An advanced qualification in marine geology, marine sedimentology, or a closely related discipline.
• Required experience: Extensive hands-on experience with offshore or marine core logging, sediment sampling, and visual or analytical core description.
• Technical knowledge: Marine sediments, sedimentary structures, soil and rock layers in oceanic environments, offshore sampling practices, and visual core description protocols.
• Other requirements: Strong written and verbal communication skills and precise technical review judgment.
