The work
You will manually review laser shearography data used in aerospace inspection and turn your findings into clear, well-supported evaluations. The work focuses on composite material defects and requires careful technical judgment without using AI tools.
You will also review technical records, test logs, inspection limits, case papers, and applicable NDT standards. Your written feedback will explain the defect, its severity, possible causes, potential effects, and the reasoning behind your decision.
- Analyze laser shearography data, fringe patterns, and optical interferometry results.
- Identify and characterize defects in aerospace composite materials.
- Assess defect type, severity, root causes, and possible effects on composite structures.
- Review inspection records, technical papers, test logs, inspection limits, and NDT standards.
- Document inspection findings and provide detailed written technical feedback.
- Help refine technical protocols and communicate clearly with project managers and technical stakeholders.
- Complete assessments through manual inspection without using AI tools.
