The work
You will review Malayalam AI responses and help improve their accuracy, fluency, meaning, tone, and cultural fit. You will also write better versions of responses and compare multiple outputs to identify the strongest result.
The work covers formal and informal writing, different regional contexts, and everyday or professional use cases.
- Review Malayalam AI outputs for grammar, spelling, fluency, accuracy, and cultural appropriateness.
- Write clear feedback, rewrites, and high-quality Malayalam answers for use as model examples.
- Compare responses and rate them for fluency, meaning preservation, tone, prompt adherence, logic, and safety.
- Find mistranslations, awkward literal wording, unsupported claims, bias, hallucinations, and policy-risk language.
- Fact-check claims when needed and adapt writing for different audiences and regional contexts.
What it pays and takes
This is a part-time contract role for someone with strong Malayalam language skills and professional experience in language-focused work.
- Pay: $20 per hour.
- Time: 20 or more hours per week.
- Location: Open to candidates in India, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
- Language: Fluent Malayalam reading and writing, plus professional English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
- Experience: Three or more years in writing, editing, localization, translation, content quality assurance, journalism, education, or similar work.
- Education or background: Linguistics, Malayalam or English literature, communications, journalism, translation, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of Malayalam grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, and register.
- Preferred experience: AI data training, translation quality assurance, editorial quality assurance, or rubric-based evaluation.
