The work includes applying MQM and LQA error categories. These are structured methods for identifying and measuring translation and localization issues.
- Review AI-generated Hindi responses for accuracy, clarity, and reasoning quality.
- Write high-quality explanations and model solutions in Hindi.
- Evaluate and rank AI responses based on correctness and reasoning quality.
- Find errors in methods, concepts, and cultural nuance.
- Fact-check localized content, including units, references, names, and dates.
- Apply MQM and LQA error categories to make consistent quality decisions.
What it pays and takes
This is a remote, part-time contractor role. The listing is marked entry level, and the required background includes substantial professional localization experience.
- Pay: $5 to $20 per hour.
- Time: 20 or more hours per week.
- Location: Open to candidates in India.
- Languages: Fluent Hindi with strong knowledge of India locale conventions, plus at least C1 English for prompts and evaluation guidelines.
- Experience: At least 5 years of professional localization or translation experience.
- Skills: MQM and LQA error typology, CAT tools, and quality assurance workflows.
- Judgment: Strong editorial judgment for register, tone, inclusivity, and cultural nuance.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Translation, Linguistics, Localization, or a related field.
- Helpful background: AI data training, annotation, evaluation, or multilingual localization experience.
