The work
You will evaluate AI-generated responses in Italian and create expert language content when requested. Your reviews will focus on accuracy, clarity, naturalness, reasoning, and whether each response follows the prompt.
You will also explain corrections, compare multiple responses, and apply style guidance so language, terminology, tone, and register remain consistent across audiences and locales.
- Review Italian AI responses for accuracy, clarity, and naturalness.
- Write expert Italian content and clear explanations of corrections.
- Find errors in logic, meaning, methodology, and conceptual understanding.
- Fact-check information when needed.
- Rate and compare responses for correctness and reasoning quality.
- Identify meaning drift, ambiguity, locale inconsistencies, and subtle language errors.
What it pays and takes
- Pay: $37 per hour.
- Work type: Remote, part-time contractor work.
- Time: 20 or more hours per week.
- Location: Open to candidates based in Italy.
- Languages: Fluent Italian and at least C1 English proficiency.
- Language skills: Strong Italian grammar knowledge, including clitics, tense, aspect, mood, semantics, pragmatics, and discourse-level editing.
- Experience: AI data training, editorial quality assurance, translation or localization quality assurance, or professional editing is strongly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in linguistics, Italian, translation or localization, communications, or a related field.
- Helpful background: Multilingual communication, copyediting, localization, register, tone, and morphosyntax.
