The work
You will help improve AI systems by reviewing Catalan prompts and generated responses. You will assess language quality, accuracy, reasoning, tone, cultural fit, and whether each response follows the prompt.
You will also create strong Catalan reference content and explain how responses should improve. The work covers general knowledge, customer support, education, translation, localization, and culturally sensitive topics.
- Review Catalan AI prompts and outputs for accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, and prompt adherence.
- Check standard Catalan, Valencian, and Balearic usage, including formal and informal registers.
- Find mistranslations, regional language issues, logical inconsistencies, factual errors, unsafe claims, bias, ambiguity, and unnatural phrasing.
- Rank model responses and provide detailed written feedback.
- Write rewrites, reference answers, and examples that show strong Catalan usage.
What it pays and takes
This is remote, part-time contractor work for candidates in France and Spain. The role is listed at an intermediate experience level.
- Pay: $25 per hour.
- Time: 20 or more hours per week.
- Location: Open to candidates in France and Spain.
- Languages: Fluent Catalan with strong reading and writing skills; professional English at C1 level or higher.
- Knowledge: Strong command of Catalan grammar, spelling, punctuation, pronouns, verb forms, tone, idioms, and style.
- Education: A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
- Preferred background: AI data training, translation quality assurance, editorial quality assurance, localization quality assurance, or rubric-based evaluation.
