The work
You will review Assamese AI-generated content and judge whether it is accurate, fluent, clear, culturally appropriate, and aligned with the prompt. You will also write improved versions, create prompts and model answers, and compare several responses.
The work covers general knowledge, customer support, education, and conversational writing. You will also identify unsafe or misleading content, fabricated claims, bias, hallucinations, and language that may create policy risks.
- Review Assamese output for grammar, spelling, tone, accuracy, fluency, and cultural fit.
- Find mistranslations, ambiguity, register problems, logical inconsistencies, and unsupported claims.
- Fact-check claims when needed and rewrite content to strong Assamese language standards.
- Create prompts and high-quality Assamese answers across several subject areas.
- Rate and rank responses for correctness, fluency, tone, prompt adherence, meaning, and safety.
- Review language for different registers, regional variation in Assam, and India-based versus diaspora audiences.
What it pays and takes
This is remote, part-time contractor work for candidates in Bhutan, Bangladesh, or India. The role is intended for someone with strong Assamese language skills and professional experience in language-focused work.
- $15 per hour.

- Fluent Assamese reading and writing ability.
- Strong professional English for detailed feedback and following guidelines.
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Linguistics, Assamese or English Literature, Communications, Journalism, Translation, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in writing, editing, localization, translation, content quality assurance, journalism, education, or related language work.
- Deep knowledge of Assamese grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, and adapting content for different audiences.
- Experience with AI data training, translation quality review, editorial quality review, or rubric-based evaluation is strongly preferred.
- Helpful experience includes Assamese copyediting or proofreading, translation quality review, localization workflows, and comparing model responses or identifying fabricated claims.
