Language Expert and Quality Reviewer (Finnish)

You will review and improve AI-generated Finnish content and create strong Finnish reference answers. The work covers language quality, factual reliability, cultural fit, and how well each response follows its prompt.

• Review Finnish writing for fluency, correctness, grammar, spelling, tone, and cultural appropriateness.
• Find mistranslations, register problems, ambiguous wording, logical inconsistencies, and unsafe or misleading content.
• Fact-check claims when needed and flag hallucinated or unreliable information.
• Write polished Finnish rewrites and gold-standard reference answers.
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses for correctness, naturalness, usefulness, and overall quality.
• Create prompts and reference answers for general knowledge, customer support, education, and conversational writing.

This is remote, part-time contractor work with a Finland hiring focus. The role is intended for an expert who can provide consistent language judgments in a self-directed workflow.

• Pay: $50 per hour.
• Time: 20+ hours per week.
• Location: Open to candidates in Finland, Norway, Sweden, or the United States.
• Language: Fluent Finnish in reading and writing, plus strong professional English for detailed written feedback.
• Experience: Prior work in AI data training, annotation, translation quality assurance, editorial quality assurance, or rubric-based evaluation.
• Background: Linguistics, translation, editing, localization, journalism, education, or related language work.
• Knowledge: Strong Finnish grammar and style, including case usage, word order, compounds, punctuation, register, selkokieli, and audience adaptation.
• Skills: Careful review of subtle meaning shifts, literal translations, culturally mismatched phrasing, and differences between formal and informal language.
• Helpful background: A bachelor's degree or higher in a language-related field, professional Finnish writing or editing experience, and experience comparing model responses with structured feedback.
