The Work
You will review AI-generated Filipino and Tagalog content for accuracy, fluency, grammar, tone, cultural fit, and adherence to prompts. You will also create reference answers, write improved responses, and explain how model outputs can be fixed.
The work includes checking meaning, register, honorifics, Taglish, factual claims, bias, safety risks, and other quality issues across common topics.
- Review and improve Filipino and Tagalog AI-generated responses.
- Create high-quality Tagalog reference content and model answers.
- Compare responses and rate fluency, fidelity, structure, tone, and safety.
- Find mistranslations, awkward literal wording, inconsistent honorifics, and code-switching problems.
- Flag unsupported claims, factual errors, bias, and policy-risk language.
- Write clear feedback explaining what is wrong and how to improve it.
What It Pays And Takes
This is an intermediate, remote, part-time contractor role focused on Filipino language quality review and AI training content.
- Pay: $20 per hour.
- Time: 20+ hours per week.
- Location: Open to candidates in the Philippines.
- Languages: Fluent Filipino/Tagalog reading and writing, plus strong professional English for detailed written feedback.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Filipino, English Literature, Communications, Journalism, Translation, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Background: Writing, editing, localization, translation, content quality assurance, journalism, education, or related language-focused work.
- Skills: Strong command of Filipino/Tagalog grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, tone, and cultural context.
- Requirements: Comfort with formal and informal registers, Taglish, subtle meaning shifts, hallucinated claims, and culturally mismatched phrasing.
- Preferred: Experience with AI data training, translation quality assurance, editorial quality assurance, rubric-based evaluation, prompts, reference answers, or quality ranking.
