The work
You will create realistic computer-based tasks in Krita that reflect digital painting, illustration, sketching, concept art, image editing, and design workflows. You will prepare each task, record the full process, and document the work so it can be understood and repeated.
You will also review your recordings and documentation to make sure each submission is complete, clear, realistic, and aligned with project guidelines.
- Create challenging Krita tasks based on practical digital art and image-editing workflows.
- Prepare files, assets, brush presets, reference images, and other resources needed for each task.
- Demonstrate layers, brushes, masks, selections, blending modes, color tools, canvas settings, reference images, and export workflows.
- Document task goals, steps, files, settings, and other context.
- Record complete computer-based workflows and review the final recording and documentation.
What it pays and takes
This is a remote, part-time contractor role for freelancers in Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan. It is listed as an entry-level opportunity, with hands-on Krita experience required.
- Pay: $20 per hour.
- Time: 20+ hours per week.
- Location: Open to candidates in Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan.
- Language: Clear written English at B2 level or higher.
- Experience: Hands-on Krita experience with digital painting, illustration, sketching, concept art, image editing, layers, brushes, masks, selections, or export workflows.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of raster-art tools and settings, including blending modes, stabilizers, canvas configuration, reference materials, and export formats.
- You should be comfortable managing image files, using digital art interfaces, recording computer workflows, and preparing a reliable work environment.
- Strong attention to detail, self-direction, and the ability to follow detailed instructions are required.
- Experience in digital art, illustration, graphic design, animation, education, content creation, or other computer-based workflows is welcome.
