The work
You will evaluate AI-generated iOS code and technical explanations, then help improve future model responses. Your reviews will cover real-world engineering concerns across UIKit, SwiftUI, concurrency, memory, networking, persistence, testing, and app releases.
- Review AI-generated iOS code and explanations for correctness, clarity, security, performance, reliability, and prompt adherence.
- Find problems involving UIKit, SwiftUI, app lifecycle, navigation, state management, background execution, threading, and networking.
- Write detailed prompts and strong reference answers across iOS development topics.
- Compare multiple AI responses and rate the best solution using clear engineering judgment.
- Fact-check technical information and flag unsafe recommendations.
- Assess offline-first patterns, caching, persistence, debugging, testing, CI/CD, Fastlane, and App Store release practices.
What it pays and takes
This is an intermediate, part-time contractor role focused on iOS code review and AI output evaluation. You should be comfortable making detailed technical judgments and explaining them clearly in English.
- Pay: $40 to $110 per hour.
- Time: 20+ hours per week.
- Location: Open to candidates in Germany, India, Thailand, the United States, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam.
- Language: Professional fluency in English.
- Experience: Production iOS application experience with Swift and ideally Objective-C.
- Skills: Strong Swift knowledge, including generics, protocols, error handling, and modern language features.
- Knowledge: GCD, OperationQueue, async/await, race conditions, thread safety, ARC, retain cycles, memory leaks, networking, testing, Keychain, and privacy-sensitive data handling.
- Helpful experience: XCTest, UI testing, CI/CD, Fastlane, App Store release hygiene, offline-first design, caching, persistence, and production debugging.
- Previous AI training, annotation, or AI output evaluation experience is a plus.

About AI training work
AI training is the human work behind systems that generate text and code. Contributors review model outputs, write examples, and rate responses so AI systems can provide more accurate and useful results.
