Full-Stack Engineer (Node.js and React)

You will evaluate AI-generated full-stack code, system designs, and technical explanations. You will also create prompts, reference implementations, and detailed answers that show sound engineering practices.

Your reviews will help assess whether solutions are correct, clear, secure, fast, scalable, and aligned with the prompt.

• Review API design, authentication and authorization, data modeling, React rendering and state, Node.js runtime behavior, asynchronous work, error handling, testing, and observability.
• Fact-check technical information and compare AI responses for reasoning quality and engineering practices.
• Write full-stack prompts, model solutions, and detailed technical evaluations.
• Assess database schema design, migrations, indexing, query optimization, and application performance.

This is remote, part-time contractor work with a requirement of 20 or more hours per week. The role is open to candidates in Germany, India, and the United States.

• Pay: Up to $100 per hour in Germany and the United States, and up to $60 per hour in India.
• Language: C1 English proficiency.
• Experience level: Entry level.
• Education: A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least four years of professional experience building production web applications with Node.js and React.
• Strong TypeScript skills and practical knowledge of Node.js asynchronous patterns, APIs, validation, security, error handling, and background jobs.
• Experience with React hooks, state management, and performance optimization.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB, including schema design, migrations, indexing, and query optimization.
• Knowledge of authentication flows such as sessions, JWT, OAuth/OIDC, and role-based access controls.
• Strong unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices, plus familiarity with CI/CD workflows.
• A detail-oriented, systematic approach to evaluating technical reasoning.
• Helpful background includes Express, Fastify, NestJS, Prisma, TypeORM, Next.js, or previous AI data training, annotation, or evaluation work.
