The work
You will create realistic examples that help train AI systems on federal budget formulation and execution. You will also review AI-generated budget content for accuracy, practical judgment, and compliance.

- Create examples from federal budget justification narratives, exhibits, and supporting analyses.
- Write sample responses to OMB passback and explain the reasoning behind budget decisions.
- Document mid-year reprogramming scenarios, including approval considerations and consistency with spend plans.
- Compare actual expenditures with planned obligations, assess fund availability, and explain variances.
- Develop step-by-step year-end closeout examples, including reconciliation with accounting records and discrepancy resolution.
- Create guidance, templates, process walkthroughs, and annotated examples about funding types, budget changes, and compliance requirements.
- Review AI-generated budget content and identify errors, missing analysis, or unrealistic conclusions.
