The work
Create professional electrical engineering scenarios and assess how AI models handle them. You will use your engineering judgment to explain sound solutions and identify designs that may look plausible but would fail in practice.
- Write realistic scenarios covering engineering requirements through design review.
- Prepare reference answers that explain the reasoning behind engineering decisions.
- Grade model outputs for technical accuracy and standards compliance.
- Flag proposed designs that do not meet practical engineering standards.
What it pays and takes
- Pay: $100 to $125 per hour, paid weekly via Stripe.
- Hours: At least 10 hours per week, with no maximum. Work is fully asynchronous, and you can adjust your workload from week to week.
- Location: Fully remote, with applications limited to eligible countries.
- Work arrangement: Independent contractor.
- Requirements: A degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field; depth in an area such as power systems, embedded hardware, or circuit design; clear written English; and the ability to document engineering reasoning.
- Helpful qualifications: A professional engineering license or FE certification, experience with both design and testing, and familiarity with simulation tools such as SPICE or MATLAB.
