The Work
You will evaluate AI-generated electrical engineering content and help improve how AI systems handle complex technical questions. Your reviews will cover accuracy, reasoning, completeness, clarity, safety, and whether recommendations would work in practice.
You will also create or challenge realistic engineering scenarios, review step-by-step solutions, and give structured feedback on assumptions, constraints, limitations, standards, and unit consistency.
- Review AI answers, prompts, explanations, calculations, and engineering scenarios.
- Check circuit design and analysis, power systems, power electronics, controls, embedded and digital systems, RF, signals, instrumentation, automation, and electronics testing.
- Identify factual errors, invalid models, unsafe recommendations, missing constraints, incomplete reasoning, and impractical solutions.
- Assess grounding, isolation, protection, electromagnetic compatibility, electromagnetic interference, noise, troubleshooting, and test considerations.
- Explain how AI responses should address safety, professional judgment, limitations, and real-world feasibility.
What It Pays and Takes
This is a part-time contract opportunity for an individual electrical engineering specialist. The role is marked as entry level, with the listed professional and education requirements below.
- Pay: $40 to $100 per hour.
- Time: 20+ hours per week.
- Work location: Open to candidates in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brazil, Cambodia, Germany, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, the Philippines, Timor-Leste, the United States, and Vietnam.
- Language: Fluent written English.
- Experience: At least four years of professional electrical engineering experience.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field.
- Knowledge: Strong command of circuit analysis, electronics, electromagnetics, signals and systems, controls, grounding, isolation, protection, and EMC or EMI principles.
- Ability to validate calculations, assumptions, units, constraints, limitations, and safety implications, and communicate clear written reasoning.
- Helpful experience includes AI training, data annotation, red-teaming, or reviewing AI-generated technical content.
- Helpful tools and background include schematics, SPICE simulation, MATLAB or Simulink, PCB design, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power studies, test reports, and engineering standards.
- Advanced degrees, PE or Chartered status, and professional certifications are preferred.

About AI Training Work
AI training is the human work behind systems that learn from examples, including reviewing answers and rating how well AI follows technical instructions. People with electrical engineering expertise are paid for this work because they can judge calculations, safety, assumptions, and practical engineering decisions that general reviewers cannot.
