The work
You will design and verify challenging, research-style computational physics problems using Python. Your work should reflect real research workflows and produce solutions that others can reproduce.
Projects may cover mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics. You will write clear problem statements and fully verified solutions using scientific Python libraries.
- Create original computational physics problems.
- Develop and check reproducible Python solutions.
- Write clear problem statements for research-style tasks.
- Work across mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics.
What it pays and takes
This is a part-time, project-based contractor role. Compensation may vary by project scope and complexity.
- Pay: $15 to $60 USD per hour.
- Time: Less than 20 hours per week.
- Location: Open globally.
