The work
You will help improve legal AI systems by reviewing Bluebook citation and pincite grading rules. The work involves finding unclear rules, creating realistic examples, and explaining why an answer is correct or incorrect.
The role includes Bluebook Citation Review across several citation types and difficulty levels, including formatting, pincites, short forms, signals, parentheticals, and source-support issues.
- Review citation-checking and pincite grading rubrics for unclear, incomplete, or inconsistently applied rules.
- Identify citation edge cases and recommend how they should be handled.
- Create sample tasks with source material, realistic citation errors, corrected answers, and explanations of the relevant rules.
- Apply Bluebook rules consistently, flag ambiguous cases for review, and deliver detailed work to the required quality level.
What it pays and takes
This is a remote, part-time contractor role. It is open to candidates in the countries specified for this role, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and India.
