The work
Use your bioinformatics and computational biology experience to create realistic problems and review AI-generated answers. Work independently on ongoing projects at your own pace.
- Create problems based on pipeline design, sequence analysis, and research workflows.
- Check AI responses for technical accuracy, reproducibility, and alignment with computational biology practice.
- Write structured feedback that explains errors and better approaches.
- Apply expert judgment in genomics and NGS pipelines, sequence analysis, statistical genetics, or structural biology.
What it pays and takes
- Pay: Up to $47 per hour.
- Schedule: Part-time, asynchronous work with no set schedule; the commitment is 20+ hours per week.
- Location: Open to candidates in India.
- Language: Strong written English.
- Bring demonstrated bioinformatics or computational biology experience, including ownership of substantial pipelines, and a record of first-author publications plus research or industry experience.
- Have a PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, genomics, or a comparable quantitative or life sciences field, or an MS with strong industry experience.
- Show depth in NGS and sequence analysis, statistical genetics, or structural biology, along with clear written communication and attention to detail.
Helpful tools and experience
Experience with BWA, GATK, samtools, BLAST, Biopython, PyMOL, AlphaFold, R, Bioconductor, or end-to-end genomics and sequencing pipelines can support your work.
