The Work
You will review and improve AI-generated scientific content. Your work will help create reliable training data by checking biochemical explanations, writing reference answers, and comparing model responses.
The subject matter includes enzyme kinetics, protein structure, metabolism, molecular biology, genetics, and laboratory methods. You will also assess calculations, experimental context, safety awareness, reasoning quality, and unsupported or misleading claims.
- Create prompts, gold-standard answers, rewrites, and reference content covering biochemistry and molecular biology.
- Evaluate and rank AI responses for correctness, clarity, terminology, structure, relevance, and reasoning quality.
- Fact-check biochemical claims and identify incorrect mechanisms, pathway errors, flawed calculations, unsafe laboratory advice, and overconfident interpretations.
- Review experimental explanations, figures, methods, units, concentrations, and data interpretations for scientific accuracy.
- Write precise feedback that demonstrates clear and reliable biochemical reasoning.
What It Pays and Takes
This is a remote, part-time contractor role. The listing is marked entry level, while the work requires substantial subject knowledge and relevant experience.

- Language: Professional fluency in English at C1 level or higher for detailed written feedback.
- Education: A bachelor's degree or higher in biochemistry, molecular biology, biology, chemistry, biotechnology, biomedical sciences, pharmacology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: At least three years in biochemistry research, laboratory work, teaching, tutoring, scientific writing, academic review, life-science quality assurance, or related scientific work.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of proteins, enzymes, metabolism, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, lipids, cell signaling, molecular biology, and biochemical techniques.
- Judgment: Ability to identify hallucinated claims, misleading simplifications, unsupported biological or chemical statements, and unsafe guidance.
- Helpful experience: AI training, annotation, scientific quality assurance, content review, rubric-based evaluation, enzyme kinetics, protein structure and stability, molecular biology methods, metabolic pathways, laboratory protocols, or scientific fact-checking.
