Avid Media Composer Editor (Video Annotation)

You will use Avid Media Composer workflows to curate and annotate video data for AI model training. The work combines video editing judgment with careful labeling, metadata entry, and media organization.

• Review, label, and segment video sequences using project guidelines.
• Add accurate metadata and context to video assets.
• Organize media for clarity, consistency, accessibility, and version control.
• Apply broadcast and film post-production practices to AI training assignments.
• Record editing decisions and provide written feedback to support model refinement.
• Communicate with project managers and technical leads to resolve questions and clarify requirements.

This is an entry-level remote contractor role. Prior AI training experience is not required, but professional Avid Media Composer experience is required.

• Pay: $15 to $80 per hour.
• Work type: Remote contractor and part-time work.
• Location: Open to candidates across multiple countries in the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
• Language: Fluency in English is required.
• Professional experience using Avid Media Composer for video editing.
• Familiarity with broadcast or film post-production, media asset management, and versioning.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and accuracy in annotation and metadata entry.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing media or production projects, reviewing detailed guidelines, and documenting editorial decisions is helpful.
• Interest in emerging technology and applying video-production expertise to AI-related data projects is helpful.
