The Work
You will help customers bring data into a platform, from initial preparation through transfer and validation. You will work with experienced forward deployed engineers while taking on more technical ownership over time.
The work combines hands-on engineering, operational execution, customer communication, and careful handling of production systems and sensitive data.
- Prepare, transfer, and validate customer data.
- Build and improve scripts, integrations, and automations for faster, more reliable data ingestion.
- Investigate issues involving APIs, data formats, and transfer workflows.
- Monitor active workflows and verify that customer data arrives complete and accurate.
- Share progress with customers and internal teams, resolve blockers, and improve recurring workflows.
- Turn repeated issues into better tools, documentation, and reusable processes.
What It Pays and Takes
This is an entry-level, part-time contractor role. The work is open to candidates in the listed countries and requires professional fluency in English for customer and internal communication.
- $40 to $60 per hour.

- Foundational programming skills, including the ability to write and debug basic Python scripts or use a similar language.
- Familiarity with APIs, command-line tools, and Git.
- A methodical approach to troubleshooting, strong ownership, reliability, attention to detail, and clear written communication.
- Ability to follow runbooks, recognize their limits, suggest improvements, and use sound judgment with sensitive data and production systems.
- Experience with SQL, data pipelines, large datasets, cloud storage, Linux, JSON, CSV, or Parquet is helpful.
